Black grouse lek

In the middle of April we visited Saaremaa again, this time our purpose

was to see the famous Black grouse lek. We arrived to Saaremaa in the evening and  spent the night in a small hide. Idea was, to be on the playground when grouses arrive.
Grouses arrived at 4.30 in the morning and started lekking.
Lekking lasted until 8 AM, after that the birds left and we also packed our gear and headed back.
It was a really amazing experience, we will definitely do it again next year :)
